Chad seen from the sky. Welcome aboard !

During the summer of 2011, I reported on the French armed forces stationed in central Africa, located in southern Libya and in eastern Niger, Chad. The rainy season was in full swing and the helicopter was moving because the tracks were impassable between N'Djamena and the towns of Moussoro and Médé. At this time of year, the humid and warm atmosphere highlights the flora in this region of the Sahel. During flights, I observed and admired the beauty of the Chari River, the irrigated wadis, fenced villages with thorny branches forming circles, the roads passing under the cockpit of our aircraft forming improbable geometric figures. Welcome aboard !
